Oregon Convention Center Solar PV

In partnership with the Oregon Convention Center, Metro, Pacific Power, Energy Trust of Oregon and SolarCity, Puttman Infrastructure helped to identify, define, and deliver a 2MW solar PV system on the LEED Platinum Oregon Convention Center. The system is one of the highest producing systems ever installed on a US convention center. The system’s more than 6,500 rooftop solar panels are expected to produce 25-30% of the convention center’s electricity – that’s enough energy to power approximately 185 homes.

“It has been a longstanding goal of the OCC to produce solar power on what is probably Oregon’s largest rooftop,” said Scott Cruickshank, OCC Executive Director. “The realization of this goal represents the determined efforts of our many partners and our staff, and their genuine, common commitment to sustainability.”
