The EcoDistricts Incubator is a three-day executive training program that prepares project teams from across North America to advance neighborhood-scale sustainability projects in their own communities. Tom Puttman participated as a Incubator faculty member leading strategy sessions on district infrastructure finance, development and operations.

As part of a special strategy session between WeBuildGreenCities, Business Oregon, International Sustainable Development Foundation China US Center, and the members of the Chinese ministry of technology, Tom Puttman provided an overview of innovative infrastructure efforts to support green building and EcoDistrict efforts in the United States. OrangeGoesGreen, a delegation of Dutch companies focused on sustainable urban development, attended the annual EcoDistrict Summit in Portland, OR to learn and share knowledge. Puttman Infrastructure hosted a special session for the Dutch delegation to discuss district infrastructure concepts, development strategies and current projects.
